Debbie, Executive Director
The Executive Director holds administrative and supervisory responsibilities of Safe Haven and serves on the Board of Directors. The Director also assists with client services, grant allocation and disbursement, and outreach to the community. Debbie graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a minor in Organization. She is a member of Parent to Parent of Georgia, Altrusa International, and The Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
Tamela, Shelter Supervisor
The Shelter Supervisor is responsible for daily management and administration of the household area of the shelter and supervises shift workloads, hotline calls, household chores, reports, Shelter Advocate schedules, intake applications, inventory and supplies, donations, and other duties as needed. Tamela is a certified GSD Practitioner and holds a Microsoft Office Certification.
Taylor, Rapid Re-Housing Case Manager Continuum of Care
The Rapid Re-Housing Case Manager coordinates and oversees the policies and procedures of the program and designs and controls the client's self-sufficiency plan. The case manager also facilitates family assessments, case management, adult support groups, home-based follow-ups, and provides referrals. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Spanish.
Jessica, Transport Coordinator
The Transport Coordinator is responsible for providing direct service to clients residing in Safe Haven emergency shelter and communicating through the Safe Haven crisis line, in addition to other support services within the facility. Jessica has a degree in Health Information Technology.
Leticia, Rapid Re-Housing Case Manager Continuum of Care

Benita, Business Manager
The Business Manager maintains the Safe Haven accounting system and payroll, and compiles reports for grant reimbursement. The Business Manager also assists the Executive Director with grant applications. Benita earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Georgia Southern University.
Kimberly , Associate Director and Legal Advocate
Kimberly's primary responsibility is to provide legal advocacy services to victims of domestic violence in the six county area of Ogeechee and Middle Judicial Circuits. She also provides legal services to victims residing in the emergency shelter and housing programs. Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies and Masters of Public Administration from Georgia Southern University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Jamie, Rapid Re-Housing Case Manager and Partial Shelter Case Manager
The Rapid Re-Housing Case Manager assists Safe Haven clients in transitioning into independent housing. As Partial Shelter Case Manager, Jamie assists the Shelter Case Manager with clients in the shelter, connecting each consumer with resources to help with emotional coping, employment, child care, health insurance and many other necessities. Jamie graduated from the University of South Carolina - Beaufort with a degree in psychology.
Night & Weekend Shelter Advocates
The night and weekend Shelter Advocates' duties include management of the household area of the shelter in addition to several other administrative duties.

Alicia, Children's Program Coordinator
The Children's Program Coordinator oversees all activities of the Children's Program. She coordinates scheduling assessments of the preschoolers and works with the interns and volunteers who support the Children's Program. Alicia received a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development from Georgia Southern University.
Dedra, School Age Child Advocate
The School Age Child Advocate supervises children in daily and after school care. Additionally, the Child Advocate plans strategies to assist children in improving emotionally and academically, working with the local school; plans schedules and programming for school holidays. Dedra holds a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development from Georgia Southern University.
Jenna, Outreach Liaison
The Outreach Liaison provides outreach to the six counties that Safe Haven serves, including teaching about Healthy Relationships to area middle and high schools. Additionally, the Outreach Liaison serves as victim liaison for the Family Violence Intervention Program and assists with taking crisis calls within the shelter. Jenna earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Georgia Southern University.
Sherry, Pre-School Child Advocate
The Preschool Child Advocate supervises and nurtures the youngest residents of Safe Haven. She helps with enrollment in preschools and Head Start. Sherry received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Georgia College.
Kathy, Volunteer Coordinator
The Volunteer Coordinator recruits, trains and schedules volunteers and interns. She writes the Safe Haven e-newsletter. She also secures donations of equipment from large corporations, financial gifts, expertise, time and services from local groups. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University.
